Position Title : L3 UNIX Server Admin
Location : Colorado Springs, CO
Experience Required : 8-12 Years
Required skills :
Primary Skills:
1. Experience in administration of IBM Power6 platform ( p595, p570, p520, 7042-CR4), Power HA, AIX HACMP in 40+ servers environment
2. Experience in HP UX platform (HP A-class, K-Class, L-Class, N-Class, RP-series), HP Service Guard, in above 100+ server environment.
3. Exposure to EMC /Flexiclone environment
4. Experience in working on ERP environments understanding of Oracle, SAP, Siebel
5. UNIX Enterprise Server class administration experience of more than 8 years.
6. Installation/Configuration AIX 6.x, Power6, Power HA, HACMP, Sun Solaris 10, Zones and containers, Sun Cluster 3.2, Veritas Cluster and similar experience in HP UNIX lime HP VSE (Virtual Server Environment - vPAR, nPAR), HP MCSG.
7. Excellent Troubleshooting Skills in HP UNIX and AIX, Sun Solaris 10, Zones and containers, Sun Cluster 3.2, Veritas Cluster and similar experience in RHEL 3-6, SuSE 9-10
8. Experience in Architecture/Design of HP / Sun /IBM Server Infrastructure in ERP environments.
9. Performance tuning, capacity management in the above UNIX, Linux platforms.
10. Installation and configuration Backup Applications (Veritas Netbackup)
11. Experience in Managing a Large Unix infrastructure of over 100 servers.
12. Excellent communication skills
13. Service monitoring and SLA management
14. Establishing and maintaining process documents and run books
Secondary Skills:
1. Good understanding of Incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management (ITIL)
2. ITIL Certification
